Just got a call from the 347-347-1122 number which seems to be using a New York City area code. They were looking for someone saying I am in legal trouble. They could not understand what I was saying when I told them this is NOT that persons number/phone. They kept replying, why I am I using his number, I should stop.
They said they work for New York Police Department. They also got hostile and started yelling. Thanks for all the info from you all, I was going to report to NYPD terrorism hotline.
Yes I believe you in this is the case. Once you answer the calls, they continue to harass you. I just got another call after a few years of not getting any and I will still not answer. I am actually not working right now. This is such harassment. I hope the there will be something done about this.
I received same call but said his name was Jordan White saying my ss number was being sued. I said stop arrassing me, he said hold on going to transfer you to my supervisor and his name was Ronald Jackson. He said I was being sued from Cash Advance lian co. I said you have proof? I never received a loan and told him I would turn him into the Attorney Generals office. He hung up on me... I did call the Attorney Generals office and they said it was a scam..Don't answer their calls..they just want money....call the Federal Trade Commission and report it.....
I just received a call from some Indian guy. He claims that it was regarding a legal matter and I owe money. He called me at my place of employment. I told him to not call me again at my place of employment. I really didn't let him talk. I told him that I know he was a fraud and that his conversation is being taped on the phone. I cut him off right away. I am so sick of these people, don't they have anything else better to do.
I received several calls at work stating that I owed a debt and when my coworkers stated to them that I was not in they preceeded to curse them out and say all sorts of foul things to them even my manager. They say that is was from a payday loan but when I asked for their name and number they would not provide me with that information. I am trying to find out how to stop these calls.
