Received a voicemail, claimed to be "US Treasury" and threatened me with a "real legal mess" in broken English unless I call back immediately and pay $4,000. Caller did not use my name in reference in the message. I called IRS to check (direct number I obtained from IRS website, waited on hold for a while but was worth it) and confirmed this is a scam.) IRS has a warning dated Oct 2015 on their website relating to this scam.

Man in broken English said his name was Sean Andrews from the U. S. treasury Department and that I was in serious legal trouble. He told me to get a criminal attorney and when I asked for his supervisor because no one handles these things over the phone, he threatened to ruin my life in one hour.
I received the same phone call today and he couldn't even say my name correctly (first and last name). He said I owed $6800 in back taxes and when I questioned him several times he said I tried to warn you and hung up. Scam!
