I wouldn't advise blocking the entire 347 area code, as that happens to include legitimate numbers, for instance, my own cell number as well as my daughter's. However, I have specifically blocked 347-567-2167. The robocall I received today 8/9/16 mentioned a free medic alert system for seniors, but when it also said I had been referred by one of my friends (not likely), I ended the call.

I let it ring. Canned message telling me to press 2 for medical alert system or 9 to opt out. Even if I pressed 9 there is no one on the line to care. Really? I'm 3000 miles away, why would I buy from them anyway? Just ridiculous
