I have been called from the # _______ repeatedly for a 3 day in a row stretch, then they stop for a few weeks, then start again. They have thick indian accents and other afro american thick accents. I finally answered and they have left several threatening messages on my phone # that I did not pay a bill and now the NY State Attorney General was going to hand me legal papers and I there was a lega lean on my Social Security # and I was to be arrested at home if I did not pay. i was to call the above Number back immediately 347.625. 3715. I did not beleive them asn asked them for an address, they gave me 101 E. Green Street in Brooklyn, NY 11327. I told them to send me something in writing, they had and recited me and my address (I did not give it to them) It is from Cash Advance USA. I looked up all these number sand it is a scam, I am worried becasue these people have a lot of imformation and I am a single mom. So I am not sure what to do.
My friends received a call from someone named Christina Parker who is with ACS. 2 of them received calls from her. She stated that i had used them as references and to please get a message to me about fraud and my social security number. And yes she had a foreign accent--it was very difficult to understand what she was saying---i got to listen to both messages and it was the same women. One of my friends said the the area code was a 666 area code and the other friend said it came in like an interantional call---it had 12 numbers to the phone number. and the number she gave both of them for me to contact her at was 347-625-3715. i did try to call it one time and it was busy. She also had stated in the messages that i needed to contact her by the end of the day to come to a settlement in this matter. I have gotten a couple payday loan--a few years ago and both of them have been paid off completely. I will have to say i was very worried last night--i mean someone calls my friends asking them to get me a message about a fraud and my SS#, and i am so glad that i talke dto a few people about this and one of them showed me this website....I just want to say thank you for this site because the little people like me who dont have a lot of resourses(to get a lawyer for the matter they were claiming) can see that we were about to be scammed.
I Know There Calling From Some Where In NY I Looked The Number Up Under Phone Scam.They Speak Like There From Indian Decent Can't Understand Them At All They Talk So Fast Trying To Get Money Outta You For A Loan That You Have No Idea Of. Harrasing You On The Phone Treating You They Will Take you To Court And I Have 3 Charges On Me From This Company And At First The Amount That I So Called Owe Started From 500.00 Then It Drop Down To 300.00 But The Money Needed To Be Paid Today, They Called My Job. The First Guy Who Talked To Me His Name Is Xevior Jackson Then His Superior Talked To Me Said He Was The Court House Attorney.
Received a voice mail from my cell and work numbers from an man (indian accent) that said something about a lawsuit against me. He also called the two references I usually have when I used to apply for a payday loan.
I too received the same calls from someone named (Joseph Williams 347-625-3715) claiming to be some sort of debt collector. Can't understand him for crap sounded (Indian). He said I took out a pay loan from Cash Advance USA and my file was sent to them to collect the debt. I am sick and tired of these people calling and harassing me at work and on my cell phone. Is there any way to report them and if so to who?? The also threatend to send someone to my job and take me in for fraud for not paying back the loan. I did not take out any pay day loan with these people and if I did take out a loan I made sure and repaid it back. I am going to research and find out what I can do and report them to who ever I need to.
