Who called from 3476270007

Got a call, saying it was a pc problem. My computer was sending them error messages.  They told me what to do.  Went thru step by step so I could see "error" messages and "Warnings", then directed me to their website where they then had access to my lap top.  I became worried and ended call and shut down computer.

I received pretty much the same call.. except I told them I'd call back. It IS pretty sketchy. Did anything happen to your computer afterwards?

My mother received a call from this number, asking her to do some things on here computer because of a "Microsoft" problem.

He accidentally called back and the callerid reported 85614256221. 856 is the international access code for Russia, so makes me wonder.

good, you do a right thing. They were scammer. nothing they are receiving from your computer.
All the windows computer have errors and warnings. this is not harming the computer.

Yes, I received the exact same call.  "John" phoned and stated that he was alerted by Microsoft that there was an error on my computer and that 90% of my computer was noting errors.  I went through as he suggested, and was transferred to his supervisor "Eric".  I was asking Eric many questions and became concerned when he had full viewing and access rights to my computer.  I canceled all of the windows and contintued to ask additional questions, he then hung up on me.
