Hey Scammer, the first sign that it's a scam is how you listed the phone number. Clearly you're not from the US as our phone dialing doesn't begin with 0.
Theycall relentlessly. All times of day. Today at 6: 30 am. Very pushy, claim they represent Windows, want access to computer. The name today was Lee Johnson. Can't anyone make them stop?
These people are scammers. Today i asked them for an address and they hung up. Dont let them acess your computer. Have phone company block numbers. They are at an apartment complex in Brooklun, Ny and police dept cant do anything.
They called today and I called their bluff. Same deal, claiming to be Allen Smith from Microsoft Windows regarding a security breach. They called me back when I called their bluff claiming to be Alex Stewart and another time being Tom Spencer. I called the Federal Trade Commision and filed a complaint online.
called and claimed to be from Windows Security. Jim Harper (didn't sound like a Jim Harper). wanted access to the computer. had me open the msconfig menu and said that the reason there were so many "stopped" programs was because of a hacker. All of the computers I have been able to check are that way, apparently that is normal. sent me to TeamViewer.com to download a program so they could have access (I didn't).
