Yes i received a call today saying i need to pay 921 dollars by today or else i was gonna have an arrest warrant and picked up at my job tomorrow morning and or at my house, and John Shoemaker told me i need to pay or they will pick me up any time kinda scared for my life and he said he was with the FBI and is going to issue me a warrant. And then Kevin Watson called me from a 661 number in my area telling me i need to pay or he going to come and pick me up. Well the number he called from is Kern County city jail. It is a scam and my mom almost paid him the money but im glad i said wait and did a further investigation.
I received a call from 911 and. Guy with an accent said he was calling from mobile county sherriffs dept. I asked immediately for phone number of his dept., address and badge number he gave me the name of gene Watson and a 6 digit badge number and the number to the semmes county sherriffs office and the address from Dothan Alabama sherriffs dept. I asked for his superior officers info and he would not give it. He told me to call a second number 347 627 0474 ext 711 for a John shoemaker. I called knowing already it was a scam. At this time a second guy with foreign accent gets on the line. I ask for same info, phone number name, supervisor and address. He said he was with FDIC. But did not give me the correct meaning of he initials and then read me a complaint which said I had a 10,000 payday loan through america cash advance and that I would be arrested without payment. I had just had the same kind of call last week and hav already brought it to he local authorities so I advised him that I had the call traced and the police listening and that I knew it was scam and he said he would see me in jail and hung up. I changed all my contact info as of yesterday. I have no had a payday loan in five years or more so I knew this was scam.
I got a call from a Jack Hoffman claiming I owe American Cash Advance money from a pay day loan that I never received. I told the man that I can prove that I never got the money. I got another call a couple weeks ago from someone just like this one and when I told him that I have proff that I never got the money from National Cash Advance he dropped it and I haven't heard from him scene.
A male professing to be a kevin watson agent is calling on behalf of Detective John Shumaker of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Dept. Agent Watson tells me to call this Jonn Shumaker of crimes and something division. He tells me that they have a warrant for my arrest or I can turn myself in to them at their local office. Not sure if he meant sheriff office or his agent office. He said he will send his investigators to my home and work to stop me from running. Then he tells me God bless you at the end of the call. They called a lot today. Call my job too . If you filled out a payday loan app or loan app or bought something on line your a target. The call I got last week was so real the Moreno Valkey Police Dept took a report and have revered to scam artist division. That call came from New Mexico and their words were so filthy on what they called me when I challenged them. They were beyond abusive.
