Recieved a call from the idiots today on 10/27/11. Goes by the name officer king douglas claims there is a warrant out for my arrest and that I must pay full balance to a loan I don't have. If you ever took I a loan before these peoples with scare you with information they might have hack from a website to convince you that they are real debt collectors. Don't trust them.
I received a call from these guys who have strong accents. They said that they have an affadavit against me from a PayDay Loan that I am pretty sure I paid for. I told them to hold and I will get the information, and I also wanted all their information to see if they are legit. I told them that I was going to call the Better Business Bureau and other entities that would help me to see if they were legit. The person knew some information about me, but I was not going to provide anymore; especially if he was not going to answer my questions. He said that his law firm is called "US Defiant Financial Fraud Practices". I have never committed fraud. He insisted that I have, and that is when I started to ask a lot of questions that he did not want to answer...so he hung up on me.
I got this same call today..Nov 5, 2011...The person was indeed of foreign descent, and I could not understand him very well...but he said he was with a legal firm, and he was an officer...and was going to bring legal actions against us for fraud...first he had the wrong people, and after telling me this other persons personal business, I told him he had just committed an unlawful act of disclosure...He then proceeded to call me a f.....ing PIG...I was horrified at his language...and he went even further to state I was an OLD woman f...ing pig!!! He said he was going to come to my house, and f...me up...I called the police and made a report of it, but they said the same thing ... that it was a scam....but isn't there something that can be done about these people?? How dare they call and threaten people like they are doing...
This guy keeps calling and asking for some person that is not employed here. He has a heavy accent. He continues to call and is lewd to any female who answers the phone. He is very verbally abusive and continues to spew a lot of sexual things and is so vulgur. The receptionist transfered him
to me (HR) and he got very threatning. I did try to call the number back and ask for his supervisor. The number was disconnected for a few days but today again i started receiving calls from the same number.
