They called had a thick accent, said they were from AR Tech? I asked what the call was in reference too, they didn't want to tell me unless I told them who I was and they were the ones calling me. I told them not to call me again.
I got the same random call, however, when I returned call, got a recording telling me to hold. No identifying company name upon answering so I hung up immediately
I just got a call and they had really strong Indian accent. They were saying they were First Credit Card Services and debt collector. They had the info of my hospital bill which I could not pay 3 years ago and it was around $270(as they said) and they were trying to give me discount as $180 but they persisted me to pay by the phone right now, which I could get discount. I refused to give my credit card info to strangers and asked them to send me letters. They said they only could send me by email but then they kept insisting me to give me my credit card infos. I refused but they kept talking same things over and over again more than 5 mins and asked my credit card #. I told them even though I would not get discount, I will check email first and will make a payment. They ended up being very upset and hung up. Sounds fishy, right? Well, I haven't received their email yet. They must be a scammer!
I also received a call from this company. Again, with a thick accent that I couldn't understand. I saved the number and added "ignore" to my growing list of telephone calls to ignore. I also added a default of "no ring" for this number as well as the many others. Its incredible how many people there are out there looking to scam.
