I'm a receptionist for a large firm and these idiots keep calling and ask for a Susan Lewis. We don't have one and we never have. Then they call back and ask for our IT Manager. I like to "play" with these yahoos and then tell them off. That works for about 2 weeks and then another idiot calls with the same thing.
Some guy with an accent says he's calling from Stuart Meagle's (sp?) office with Accentric Incorporated keeps calling asking for the Finance Director by name. I keep telling them to stop calling here. Hasn't worked so far. Maybe I'll pose as her next time and screw with "Stuart's" head a little. Sometimes we have some fun around here by screwing with these annoying callers' minds. Hey, one needs a little fun at work too.
Just got a call from a man with an Indian accent at my work asking for my first name, with the last name 'Anderson' (as other people reported). I told him we don't have anyone with that name and what was the reason for the call. He said he was looking for St. Johns Hospital. When I told him there were two in the vicinity, and if he wanted their number, he said sure - not knowing which one he wanted. I gave him a number, documented his, and hung up. Very strange!
