Four times in the last two days I've gotten recorded phone calls claiming to be from the Internal Revenue Service of the United States saying that they are suing me. The recording says to call 347-674-3984 to get it resolved. It sounds phony to me, especially since I haven't gotten any mail from the IRS.
Received a call from this number stating that it was the IRS and they were filing a suit against me. I didn't call the number back because this sounds fishy to me. One, I don't owe the IRS anything, and two, why would the IRS in New York be interested in someone who lives in Indiana???
