The same that happened to all of you, I deposited the check today. I´ll be at the bank first thing in the morning to tell them about the scam and Dennis Grover. Thank God I didn´t cash the check, but still I need to let the bank know about the check
What will happen if I cashed the check some where other than my bank like walmart. I have had this happen to me before and I need the money. I'm really considering just cashing it and keeping the money. Any advice?
It's a FAKE check. It will bounce - maybe days, maybe weeks from now. Doesn't matter where you cash it. You'll be on the hook for not only the face amount, you may also be charged with passing a forged instrument! DO NOT CASH or DEPOSIT the check! Take it to your postmaster - they investigate postal fraud, which this is.
So they gave u the $$$ for it and then u had to pay it bk right?? I just got it today and was omw until something told me to research first and now this scam artists just on the move smdh its sad
