Who called from 3476961095

just got the similar call as the folks above…sounded fishy…i don't have updated virus protection so that is probably moving up the top of my list of to dos…hate getting any telemarketer calls in general…told the guy to give me his phone number and i would call him back but now i clearly won't.  why the hell would microsoft care if my personal computer was hacked…give me a break.  think they have bigger things to worry about.

my caller id said unknown so i should had "known" better!

Just received this call also . trying to ascertain if it is real?

Received calls for several days from this "unknown" number. I finally picked up and they gave me the standard line, that they were calling on behalf of Microsoft because the Microsoft server had received several error messages from my computer. I asked why there was no caller ID and he (in a heavy accent), said that the calls were actually robocalls being made by the Microsoft server. The first two times, I just hang up. The third time, I started pushing back. I told him I would call him back and he gave me the 347-696-1095 number. I also asked the name of his company and he said it was MS PC Help, located at 11 Times Square, NY, 10034. He was very persistent, and finally I told him that I did not want to talk to them, I didn't want their help, and I finally hung up. In following up, I found a website, mspchelp.com, which listed the 347 phone number. According to the website, they offer web support services. Still seems like a scam.

I just received a call from "Sam" at this number telling me my computer was under attack from hackers.  Things sounded fishy so just hung up the phone after a long conversation trying to verify the validity of the call.

I got a call and Mr John Williams said that he was from Microsoft.com.He said that his phone number was 347-696-1095. He also said that his email (his accent, maybe Indian, was difficult to understand), [email protected] . He has called me 3 times in the last half hour.He talked about my computer receiving a lot of error messages, etc, as stated in some of the other reports above. I will try to inform Microsoft and also DO NOT CALL registry.
