They left an unintelligible voicemail (garbled, but I did get the "threat" at the end of the message.. something like "please call back in order to prevent an action being taken against you."
I had 3 message from this same phone number. Said their name was Mickie Johnson saying that it was the IRS and for me to call right away. When I called back there was a recording of someone with a British accent. The caller id only showed a phone number but no name. I think if it was the IRS it would say it in the title. I checked the IRS site and it states that the IRS would never call without sending a notification first in the mail.
I got a call with the same threats as Berry and I am glad to know you checked with the IRS and confirmed what I suspected. They would not call with out mailing first. The accent was so bad I could hardly understand the person and I know the IRS has no problem with me. I told them to send the Feds after me otherwise leave me alone.
