Received call on my cell (which is no the Do Not Call Registry) 4/19/13 12:54 p.m. PST. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up. They did not leave a message.
I just rec'd a call from this number, I didn't answer because I didn't recognize it. I called it back and it said
"I'm sorry the person you are trying to call does not have a voicemail set up yet, please try your call again later"
I have an app on my phone called "who are you" and if I don't know the caller then I ditch the call. After doing that, everytime that number calls my phone it automatically gets sent to voicemail and I never see the call come in. It's a GREAT feature, I hope this helps...
You actually expect some idiot with an autocaller, who clearly has no respect for his victims' time or intelligence, who can't be bothered to follow the law or to even buy up to date call lists, to suddenly grow a pair and show some respect for a local crisis? Not terribly realistic.
Yeah, I got a call from this one this morning. No VM left, and a call box reveals that the bozo hasn't even bothered to set up his voice mail - a sure sign of a scam artist.
I only answered because my husband is sleeping and I didn't want the phone to wake him. After I said hello there was an auto message about being selected for a free cruise. These people must be desperate for a paycheck. If I had a choice I would not be working some harassing spam scam job.
