Have received several calls that say Customer Service or Customer Support. I accidentally answered one yesterday that said it was about student loans. It is obvious from this site that calls from this number are a scam. No one legit caller is calling to talk about both political topics and reducing student loans. In fact no legit number is going to call you to offer ways to reduce your student loans or interest anyway.
These people are all criminals. Criminals don't follow the rules of the Do Not Call list. You should notice that no real companies are calling to sell you things. Unfortunately we need better technical management from the Telecom companies to identify spoofed numbers and block them.
CID Virginia. Having posted twice earlier, I received an identical robotic call today from 703 272 4699 the only difference is it called the program the US Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
What bothered me before and now, is this is a thinly disguised "political" call, allowable under FCC rules and opted out from DNC restrictions, but that by answering or responding in any way opens the individual who receives these calls to other callers, telemarketers and scam operators.
This seems a new wave of the future, and the FCC and Feds don't seem to have any way to prevent this form of call.
