I received a text from this number inquiring about an expensive post I have listed on Craigslist. Offered $80 extra for me to ship it to his friend abroad. Sellers BEWARE!!!!!!
I received a reply to my craigslist ad today from this number thinking that they were a very interested buyer of my computer I've been trying to sell. They included the title which seemed really odd. Then, they kept arguing about the shipment date and was texting very weird...like they were not from the US. I ended up telling them that I do not trust them and that I could not sell my computer to them. He texted me like 10 pages and called ME a scammer. He ended up just being another untrustworthy person. I told him if he contacted me again, I would contact authorities. I'm thinking about do it. This is a crazy world we live in...BE CAREFUL!
Same Method of Operation today...tried to get me to give a paypal email and offered 100 dollars extra to ship to a friend abroad!...then got another text from same area code with different number! DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION OVER A TEXT.
This person is trying to get you to hand over your phone number to be routed to them by using Google Voice, the 1800 number he calls from is Google voice authentication, if you put in the two numbers they ask they have access to everything about your phone bill including forwarding all calls and texts.
