I got the same phone message twice today, saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. BS. Everything went fine with my taxes earlier this year and if there was a problem, I would've heard about it. I've also heard the IRS never calls you, only corresponds with mail, so I always disregard crap like this. Pisses me off though, and I feel bad for anyone who falls victim to it.
We also have gotten one of these calls - called them back was intimidating over the phone stating we have a law suit against us.

Got the same call twice, I new it was not the IRS. So i called the # back any way just to see, who would answer. They said, thanks for calling the IRS back. I started laughing and said your welcome, then hung up. But great Idea, we all should just start calling that # over and over again to see how they like it. I feel sorry for the ones that fall for it. Can't the police do anything? Isn't it against the law to impersonate a Federal Agent? Is the IRS Consider Federal?
