The area code is from New York but sounds like a male from Pakistan or India. The call was threatening and said if we didn't return the call we would be brought before the Magistrate. They should do their homework, we don't have any Magistrates where we live. Everyday we think about getting rid of our home phone, calls like this just makes us consider it more and more.
This is the funniest of the fake IRS calls I have received. I wish I had it recorded because it is comedy gold. A dude with poor grammar and a crappy recorder ("robo-call" seems a tad too sophisticated), stated that I owed the US Treasury money. He actually said to press 1 to speak to someone or press 2 to be prosecuted. Seriously. Lol.
