A man by the name of Steve Martin with an accent called me from this number (347) 906-8624 He said he is from the Treasury Department. He said if I don't call him back it will be a Federal criminal offense. I am pretty sure he is breaking the law by pretending to be a Federal agent. The call location is Woodside, NY. WTF is this? I have a recording of this call, if anyone is interested.
347 906 8624 Claimed to be the IRS. Threatened to arrest me if I didn't call back To them with a different number. I listened to their message for a while and then hung up. IRS doesn't contact people by phone. Possibly a scam. Also, wonder if the cell phone you are to call night be connected to a bomb or something else. That way they can distance themselves from the crime. They are fearmongering to take your money, distance themselves from or commit a scam or crime.
I was in the bathroom when 347 906 called the same caller calls using different #'3 Said they were the IRS. I said that ff they were the IRS they could contact me by mail (leave a paper trail ) or send an agent to the house. They hung UP. Would like to get more info on these scammers and turn it over to law enforcement
.
They already know about it and there is nothing they can do. The calls come from overseas from countries that don't care and that take bribes to look the other way. This is the most widely publicized scam in America.
IRS Scam:
The IRS does not need to sue anyone. They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office. Several of them. Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for. Again delivered by the Post Office. Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own. If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge? They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given. The IRS does not accept payment in Itunes Cards, Amazon gift cards, or any other type of payment other than cash, check, credit or debit card (from normal everyday citizens).

I got insulted by these people several times when I said that they can contact my lawyer. I really want these ones to be responsible for what they have done and said. Do you know the way how I can report this? Thank you for any help!
