I received a text saying they are coming tomorrow to arrest me . the police are now texting people and let you they are coming after wow how dumb now that know that I'm leaving. Ha ha

I just received the same text as the above messages. The number that texted me was 202-830-1186--which the message states is a Crime Prevention Cell . Have had numerous issues with scams like this over the years, and my brother (who happens to be a lawyer) has told me to ignore them and let them actually TRY to follow through!!
Received this text today on my phone. I am a retired federal employee. I wish I was still working so that I could tell them to pick me up at work and have federal agents waiting for them. Can't someone do something about this? Someone might really fall for this scam.
All you can do is forward the texts to 7726. Your cell provider will investigate and block. These are criminals operating in overseas boiler rooms and out of the reach of US law enforcement.
