This number called and left a message, heavy accent, left rambling message from Dept of Legal Affairs, about our son, the machine cut him off after the alloted time. Lol! Scammers!
I received a message from an Indian woman Named Lisa Harris who I could hardly understand. Then when I called back a woman with a Irish accent answered. She told me not to contact my CPA but to contact an attorney ASAP as I will be involved in extensive legal action and litigation. I tried to tell her I have filed an extension for my taxes and I received notification of this. She told me to stop talking while she is talking and whatever I say is being recorded so I should watch what I say. She said not to interrupt her whiles she was talking and she told me I would be going to jail if I was found guilty of fraud which is what I was being investigated for. I then hung up.
Same call.. John Davenport. inidian male. said from dept of treasury and I would be a lot of trouble and God bless you!... LOL! yeah.. um dept of treasury is a 1 800 # and they do not tell you anything about God. this IS a scam for sure.
I received a voicemail from a woman with a very heavy Indian accent saying her name was Lisa Davis....same spiel as others...saying I needed to call back b/c I have a legal action being taken against me. It was obvious she was reading from a script...such BS.
