Caller says that their name is Stacy White with the Department of Legal Affairs. States that I need to contact them about a pressing legal matter that my name is involved in. I must not ignore this message and either myself or my attorney must call. The voice is foreign. When I called back, another foreign voice is on the answering machine and it is Larry Rodgers with the US Treasury Dept. What a SCAM. I will not be calling this number back again.
Don't they know it's the American way to get served first then go to jail later. LOL
Especially from a government agency. They are never going to tell you that you're going to be in custody in a matter of hours. Idiots. It's too bad that American VoIP phone numbers are so easily obtained world wide because this is why the scammers are targeting Americans (among other countries).
I received a call from 347-960-6509 telling me that office Danny Morrison wants to bring legal action against me but could tell me what the action was. The caller had a very thick accent even though she said her name was Lisa (yeah right). I told her to bring the legal action I do not live in that zip code so it would be totally bogus. I also told her I would be reporting this call to the better business bureau and to not call again!! I guess they think all Americans are stupid!! If I had a legal action against me that officer would be knocking on my door, not calling through a third party!!
Got a voicemail from "David Miller with the Department of Legal affairs and I was trying to reach you in regards to the very important issue. This is a verbal notification for you in regards to the enforcement action which has been decided against your name. My number is 347-960-6509. Any reason you are too busy to call back I would suggest you have your retained attorney to do it for you as delaying calling us might end up into a legal mess for you. I hope you will take this right. Call me back this is David Miller with the department of legal affairs. Looking forward to speak to you until then have a blessed day and goodbye".
Gosh, I can't remember when it was OK for a government official to tell you to have a blessed day. LOL!!!! I actually wish that I answered the call.
Received a call from 347-960-6509, left message on voicemail. Someone name david mahler with dept of legal affairs claiming there was a legal matter needing to be discussed in my name. Sounds like a scam since there are hundreds of others posting this same information from same number, diffferent name being used of course
