I received a voice message from "Sarah Wilson" with an Indian accent who claims that the Federal Investigating Department (not "Investigation" as it should be) is initiating a legal case against my house and me and to call her back before the process starts. What a Scam!
caller Nick Smith claiming to be from AOL fraud dept. Needed me to log into aol so I could check it out. apparently 21 people had been claiming they were getting spam from my account. wanted to know when i last used the account. did i have certain type of emails. wanted to call me back later, wanted me to call them back. He had a foreign accent maybe mid eastern. he said from NYC
He wants access to your computer - A REAL NO NO!!!. He will then put malware on the unit & charge you in order to remove it. IGNORE & never let a cold caller tell you there is a computer problem!
