Got same call. This did not happen until idenity was used for frad to get APUS Federal student loan August 2015. I found out about it two weeks ago. Another fine job by the government of vetting someone's idenity before handing out tax payers money. Now I'm starting to get these calls that I've never had before. Where do they get the info from ?
Ditto on all the comments above. Call came in at 11:49AM today. Message played 3 times and referenced James Gaston with a slight accent threatening to take me before a magistrate.
Same as others. Thick foreign accent claiming to be from the IRS. Said his name was James Glaston? Tried to call back but was disconnected. My advice, don't even try calling back, just a waste of a call.
I just got the same call from this Florida number and the same people called a couple of years ago with an Oklahoma area code ! Never talked to anyone then but did this time & received the same threats but when I started questioning him he said I was gonna be arrested & hung up on me lol
