I live in tthe northwest pandhandle of Florida - my call was actually receieved from a local 850 number, but the recording spiel was the same: "Hi! I'm Amy, a security advisor calling on a recorded line. Can you hear me OK?". Having received a few other computer calls, I chose to respond w silence to see if it was a real person. Spoiler alert - it wasn't. Was also hung up on.
Have received several calls from "Amy" claiming she is a "security advisor!" She called again this a.m. so I asked her, if she is a security advisor for a home security co., why does her name come up on caller id as unavailable? She then hung up on me! It's a shame that "Amy" cannot find a better way to make a living than phone scamming!!!
