I received a call at this number saying that he was with the IRS and I was entitled to a grant because of not having a criminal record and paying my taxes on time. Is this true are they with the IRS?
Received a call from this number. The person on the other end said he was from the "IR Department of the Federal Government (generic) and that I was eligible to receive a one time award of $7000. I hung up after that. I received 3 calls from this number and several calls from an "Unavailable Number" which I assumed was from them as well.
Claims I was chosen $7000 grant by the IRS and I would never have to pay it back OR any taxes EVER on it. Almost sounded like the voice was a high end computer program saying what was being typed. When they wanted to know my age I told them to tell me. Then I asked them to tell ME my DOB and they hung up. Haven't heard from them since.
Got a call from this number claiming to be from the IRS. My response was no you are not....they don't make phone calls. Even if they did it would be from a 1800 number and they hung up
