Received a call from this number, 360-322-4768 also. Left cryptic computer generated voicemail saying they were the IRS and I would be arrested if I didn't call back. Ummm, I have no problems with the IRS but keep getting these calls. I block each one then comes a different number.
Voicemail left stating, a lawsuit has been filed against me issued by the IRS and a warrant for my arrest has been issued. I called back and a man with a very thick accent, answered stating, "IRS". I hung up and blocked this number and several others I have received today!! In researching this number, IRS listed it as one of their top scammers.
Said his name was John Wiskey and he was an IRS Agent. I needed to give him my info so that he could verfiy I was who I said I was. Didn't give him any info asked what the F did he want he said he wanted me. I told him I figured that and hung up.
Just got a number from this call. Said I was being sued by the irs and if I didn't settle the debt that an active warrant would be put in place for arrest. I know that the irs will contact you by certified mail only! This is an obvious scam. I don't have anything unsettled with the IRS. They also asked me to return a call to a completely different number than the one on the caller id
