From what I am seeing, everyone started to get this call within the last hour. I just got one of my own about 10 minutes ago, the voice was computerized and was a pretty bad job of it. I have had past dealings with the IRS, and this is not how they contact you, let alone having a badly used computerized voice from the 90s. Also, the IRS does not just say they are going to sue you, they are the IRS. First they audit you, and then take what they feel is owed. I haven't tried calling them back and I am not even going to bother. This is obviously a spam tactic. Maybe we are some of the few that had our data stolen with the huge IRS breach this year.
Three messages saying it was the IRS and we were being sued.....left number to call back. Did not bother...I never heard the UR S being in Lo gives, WA!
This number keeps calling and calling saying there has been a lawsuit filed against me. To call back 360-200-6831. I call back and nobody answers!! Scam SCAM!
I received 2 calls yesterday leaving me the same message. I have no moronically.com on my land line so they must have found a way around it. I don't think blocking 360-200-6831 will work because they probably use this number for incoming calls. I'm glad this site exists so we can all help each other.
