Said we were being sued by the IRS- sounded like Indian accented lady was reading charges off of a piece of paper...unless $900.0+ was paid immediately all assets frozen within 72 hrs... Etc
Got a message that said they were the IRS and there was a problem with our tax returns from 2008 to 2013. We called back and an Indian accented lady started spouting off about a certified letter was sent to us but returned to them because nobody was home. My wife asked for the IRS phone number to some department for clarification and statement of claim and she hung up on us.
I recive a message from this number were they said that I wa was being sued fro the Irs.i cal back the number360-200-6838 and the Lady with accent ask me my phone number.when I told her my number she ask for my name when I ask her why she wants my name she start telling me my first name.i told her that the IRS never calls and always sent letter she hang on the phone
i got a message, did not mention names just said you are being sued by irs, then left this call back number, i called and said i was being sued if i dont pay they would call sheriff for arrest and suspend my drivers lic and take all my belongings, i believed and was almost going to bank to pay them but when i told the man i was going to search online he gave me a google website to look up irstead his name, then i searched here and sure it was a scary scam!!!
