Got a voicemail claiming this was an IRS/Treasury call. Called back several times before getting an answer. Claimed that they had sent certified letters and were going to send another one to try and collect a debt. Claimed there was a "mistake" on my last filed return. The called had an Indian accent and claimed his name was "Jason." I could not get a straight answer from him when I asked him to give me more detailed information. I finally hung up. I looked up the number online before calling, but did not see other spam reports on this number. I also tried calling the IRS directly before I actually called this number back, but I couldn't reach a live person. When I finally got this person, I could hear call center voices in the background. I finally got ahold of the IRS and reported the scam number.
I just got a call from Rick Brown claiming to be from the Treasury Dept and that I would be arrested within the hour for errors in my 2012 tax return. I believe this is a scam of some sort. I will contact my cell provider and the local Sheriff''s office
