Same thing happened to me today. Have to say.. Kind of upset me at first.. But they kept asking my name.. I said you called me you should have my name.. I refused to give my name... He was Kevin Mason from the Treasury Dept. He said I failed to respond to two court hearings in Superior Court and that I would be taken into custody for 3 years. I told him you don't know my name.. Send me a registered letter and one to my attorney. I have your number and I'm calling the police to report this call and they hung up. Called back.. Got the girl.. Same thing.. Mention the police and they hang up. Like you said .. They spoke with an accent. Maybe French Canadian? Not sure ( no offense to Fr. Canadians) but had contacted my attorney before I decided to research Treasury Dept in Forks Washington. Cancelled callback from attorney. Thanks for your postings. Should have look into it sooner.
Receives the same call just now from this number (360) 203-0030. Kevin Mason from Forks, WA. Same as someone else on here, I've been to Forks, and that's what gave me an immediate heads up. Highly unlikely IRS would be calling from that tiny place lol. Glad I'm not the only one getting this call.
