Called my cell. 360 is Washington area code. Called my 773 Chicago area code.
"Receive 2 complimentary cruise tickets to the Bahamas" something like that.
"This is a public opinion poll" <-- their way of getting around the "telemarketer do not call" list.
Yes, I feel the exact same way. I have only been a Verizon Wireless customer since Saturday of last week and this is the second phone call like this. Yesterday it was suppose to be some free iPad if I went to a site and entered my cell phone number. I of course did no such thing. I'm getting sick of this and I'm within my time limit to take my phones back. I only have so many minutes that I can use, and I don't want to spend them on these calls. I didn't answer my phone today and no message left, so thank goodness there were no minutes used. Point being though if you have a phone and maybe don't have all numbers in your phone or you've applied for a job, your going to answer the phone and loose those minutes. There has got to be something that can be done!!!!! I'm to the point if I get another call tomorrow, I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of these cell phones.
