Also got a call from them today, claimed to be the "State Department of Crime Prevention". Left a very threatening message about how "bad things" would happen to me if I don't call back and choose to run away from my debts. I called back, and they answered "Hello?" and that was it. I demanded that I wouldn't give them my name until they told me what company they were calling from, and what the threatening messages were in regards to. The guy put someone else on the line and I hung up. Very thick Indian sounding accent.
Pam - big, HUGE scam - they will probably say you owe on a loan or a bad check, they will be very vaugue about when the loan was taken out and how much it was for. These are lies. They will also say that you are about to be arrested - another lie - you do not get arrested for debt - even if it was valid. They will probably have middle eastern accents with americanized names and want payment from western union or a pre paid debit card. They will ask you to send a letter acknowl;edging the debt - they have stolen your information - do not give them any information. If you do owe on any loans you should contact your lender directly. Be prepared - they call form many different number using all sorts of name - check out other posts on this site.
this has to be a scam. i dont owe any banks any money, these people insist that i send funds to something that i dont owe. please stop the harrassing calls!

I have no problem paying them if they are a ledgitament business but I think I am being scammed! Can you call me and tell me what to do and help me out, I dont know what to believe anymore!
