This Pro-Life Committee called my business and I told the caller that she had called a business and to please not call back. Over the weekend, this number filled up my message box by calling every 1.5-2min and not leaving a message - I think they must have been auto dialing. So mad I could spit...this took up my whole messaging system, 336 messages. I was not able to received my clients' messages.
Well, I happen to be pro life, but that's not the point. Your message is out of context and inappropriate. I received a call from this phone number too. I doubt she was legitimately calling on the behalf of any pro life group. She was in all likelihood using that as a cover to solicit personal information from you. So if you carry out your plan, the information you give out may come back to haunt you later on. Never give out information of any kind to an unknown caller. Even surveys. Elections will be happening again in a year and a half, and all kinds of political pollsters call - and I absolutely never answer even one of their questions -- because if it is not from a legitimate source -- you would be amazed at how much the caller can learn about you from answering carefully crafted questions.
When I received the call from this woman -- robot or otherwise -- I told her I do not answer questions on phone calls coming in and I was terminating the call. But I made a mistake even in doing that. They can pick up information even from background noise in your home. I should have not even answered the phone at all. I agree with the comment made by another person on this website -- if it is important, the caller will leave a message.
On a final note, please do not attack people for their religious beliefs. In many cases, in crisis situations, that is the only thread they may have to hang on to. You may not be religious and you may think religion is bunk -- and you have made a choice for yourself if that is the case -- but you need to be respectful toward other people. I am almost certain you would not want you to be labeled as being old fashioned, outdated, or as a quack. Nor would you want to be called a jerk, would you? So treat other people the way you want to be treated. Even if you don't like how some pro life people push their ideas inappropriately -- don't you be inappropriate toward other people. You are not doing a disservice to anyone else but yourself unless you respect others.
That so called "Robot Nancy Hudson" was out to solicit either information from you, and/or money from your credit card. It's a scam. It's best to just not answer calls from people whom you do not know.
I'll tell you the same thing that I told another person who posted a similar post -- your comments are as offensive as the accusations you are making. There are some pro life people who are obnoxious and just as inappropriate as you are in your post. But the vast majority of people who are pro life are good people. When you attempt to insult someone else -- you need to be aware that it is yourself whom you are degrading. Your rage has absolutely nothing to do with the people who are directing that energy at -- it is about yourself. So my suggestion to you is to treat other people the way you wish to be treated -- even if they make you angry. Because if you disrespect other people, you are doing a disservice only to yourself, because you demean yourself through demeaning comments.
As for the robot calls -- just ignore them. Don't waste your energy. You're arguing with a computer -- an inanimate object. I received the same call. It was not from a live person. I made a mistake by even picking up the phone. I agree with another post on this website -- if it is important, the caller will leave a message.
Also, be mindful that even though you have made a choice to be an atheist, that does not mean people who make a choice to believe in God are in error. That is really a matter of a personal decision. In many cases, a person's religious beliefs is the only thread they have to hang on to when they are faced with a serious crisis in their lives. I would much rather want someone to have that if that meant the difference between life and death for them, and keeps them from jumping off a bridge. Just be respectful and treat other people the way you want to be treated.
Your comment is not appropriate for this website. I do not think you are aware of how that demeans yourself, and not the people whom you direct your comments at. You may not agree with people who are against abortion, but that does not mean you are correct in your opinion. But that is not the point. The party that contacted you was not a live person. It was a Robot caller -- a computer -- a machine. And the people calling, were not really calling on behalf of a pro life organization. They were interested in one thing, and one thing alone -- your Visa Card. Just don't answer the phone when they call -- ignore the compulsion to pick up the phone -- because the Robot can gather information even from the back ground noise in your home. I agree with another person who posted on this website -- it if is important enough, the caller will leave a message. I am sure you have better ways to utilize your time and energy than get into a rant over this. Just don't waste your time an energy over a computerized call. Be smarter than that. And be respectful to people who have religious beliefs -- sometimes that is the only life line they've got.

You made a mistake by even talking on the phone -- it was a computer calling you -- you were talking to a machine. And that machine obtained information about you -- just from the back ground noise in your home or business where you were at. And that call had nothing to do with pro life -- that was a cover. What they really wanted was your credit card information and your money.
I am pro life. But I do not agree with some of the antics that some pro life people engage in -- like the one you mentioned, among some other things that are repulsive. That minority of pro life people turn off people from being pro life. Whatever you beliefs are, be respectful toward people who believe differently. In many cases, people's religious beliefs are the only life line they've got.
