I got a call from this number saying they were the IRS and that I owed back taxes in amount of 3000. They told me that a warrant has already been issued for my arrest. They told me that I must pay in order for that to go away.
My phone rejected the call because it appeared as Number Withheld. Then I got a voice mail with a synthesized female voice saying that I needed to call the above number immediately to resolve my case. The synthesized voice sounded the same as other similar scam calls that I got in the past from other numbers.
I received a call from 360-216-1833 and had the same experience: female bot voice advising that legal action would be taken if we didn't call back. This is a new twist on a similar scam - it's a lot more professional sounding to have an automated voice call with that message than some genius from offshore trying to convince you that they speak for the federal government.
