Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Received 2 calls on 9-9-2015 one a male and second female both sounded like bot talking, both advising I am being sued by IRS and to call back to get my case number etc.
We also got this call today, mid-afternoon. The male, recorded voice said that he was from the "Internal Revenue Services" (not Service, singular) and also threatened that legal action was looming if we didn't call back. Without question, there is absolutely no chance that this is an issue for us. However, it seemed odd that a callback number was left on the recording (360-216-1833) and that the number actually matched the CID on the incoming call.
Received 3 calls from this number in one day- 360-216-1833 - same story- the IRS is bringing a lawsuit against me and call to clear things up. Yeah, ok.
