I did not answer when I saw the number showing '"Alarm co" but the callers were speaking to each other when the answering machine answered and you could hear them speaking to each other in a foreign language that appeared to be Arabic. THEY have tried again but I won't answer. Their (Or another scammer() latest trick was to put my won name and number on the caller ID hoping I would answer so they could confirm That I was home. DON't answer. POSs will get their bad karma coming to them some day.
Got a robocall then switched to a human. They already knew my home address and were trying to sell a home security system. Their other number is http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-888-336-9616
Pure baloney from this company, which uses several numbers that are similar. The Caller ID -- today -- says "ALARM CO," so you can guess it's some entity (idiot) trying to sell something, perhaps via a sales promo that they are giving away XYZ product to a select number of individuals. Sure. Right. The other number, so far, that they use ends in -7534, with Caller ID stating "SRVC CALL" or "CONTACT CENTER." Glad my online call-blocking service stopped this before I had to report it.

Called and said was going to be in the area to update our lines and wanted to install home security system. At that time they hung up. I am not interested.
