Same experience with me they became vulgar and abusive when I asked more about their claim. I'm calling them back and told them that I would like to make a payment so that I don't go to jail and they hung up. It sounds like a make-shift call center in India.
Same thing, Indian caller, very broken English, but his name is Michael Thomas. He is with IRS but they got my name from a report from IRS? They are going to put me behind bars for a couple of months due to 4 serious allegations against me. Called twice within minutes of each other. Same guy same fake name.
My husband got a call from these idiots and has done the same thing. He asks how are all the goat f-ers today and they cuss my husband out. We have called non stop to annoy them!
