Same message to me from 360 284-4884. I am to go to Western Union immediately, but the address they gave me is US bank. I need to pay $235 to receive the $5125 they "generously" will provide me for paying my taxes, etc., etc. Original call was from a non-English native - Indian. He called back in 10 minutes to see if I had called "The Grants Dept." When I called, the woman at the above number - also not American, expects me to go to the bank immediately and then call her. It reeked of a scam from the very beginning. I'm glad to see this on record as a SCAM. I will make no further move. The number comes up as "Private" - which is not possible for a govt. agency. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!!!
I got a call from 3603844884 they said it was the IRS n I have an open federal case against me for taxes in 2013 n I was over compensated 1500 dollars n I needed to pay or my house would be taken my credit cards canceled my license suspended. Funny thing is they claimed to have sent multiple letters to my address "door step" but couldn't get the zip code correct. After saying I have no clue about what going on n I have a lawyer that handles these issues. That I would have my lawyer call the their department to resolve this issue. I was told I have 36 to resolve the debt or all of the above will take action. So I politely said I still have no clue what your talking about, they not knowing that I've been in this situation before I was told well I could handle it in court!
Total scam. Originates in either India or Pakistan. Ignore and block th e numbers. Do not call them back.

I’m an Enrolled Agent with the IRS (Inactive). IRS does not initiate contacts by phone. US mail only. IRS does not file lawsuits. Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter. But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters. 90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively. IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes. IRS has no powers of arrest. If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job. IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of money. IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone. IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case. No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments. Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement. All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals. All contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

I received a phone call that this was the Internal Revenue Service stating that there is a Federal Case and Lawsuit filed under my name and that this was the last warning before they take legal action. This number has called back to back before but have never left any kind of message.
I just received the same call - the Federal Law Suit in my name - from 360-284-4884, however my phone shows it came out of Enumclaw, Washington. So, the fraudulent [***] are moving around. This makes me sick! Blocking the number!
Incoming call showing 360-339-4799, Olympia, Washington - Got voicemail stating there was a federal lawsuit against me and this was my last warning and i needed to call 360-284-4884. Called and this man could not speak english said they had tried to mail me at my home and unable to serve me papers. I had done my tax papers worng for 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 and I could either resolve this now or fight them in court. I told them I needed to see this in writing and I wasn't going to give them any info. He started yelling at me and told me to suck his d*@#! and then hung up on me.
