Same message to me from 360 284-4884. I am to go to Western Union immediately, but the address they gave me is US bank. I need to pay $235 to receive the $5125 they "generously" will provide me for paying my taxes, etc., etc. Original call was from a non-English native - Indian. He called back in 10 minutes to see if I had called "The Grants Dept." When I called, the woman at the above number - also not American, expects me to go to the bank immediately and then call her. It reeked of a scam from the very beginning. I'm glad to see this on record as a SCAM. I will make no further move. The number comes up as "Private" - which is not possible for a govt. agency. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!!!
This just called me, left a voicemail claiming they were the irs and there is a federal case and lawsuit pending on me and this is my final warning before taking legal action.
I have been receiving these calls from "the IRS" for at least a week.These guys have been calling me daily. They never talk to me when I ask who they are, and almost always hang up. Ironically today, I kept calling back...over and over again. The first couple times he still asked for my name and phone number...then he didn't answer. I kept calling. Then he answered with "Why do you keep calling me?" I asked if he saw the irony here...he then said "Suck. My. F*cking" D*ck." I laughed so hard.
I asked him to remove me from his call list...I think he actually did, too! We will see. I will continue to call them back over and over if they keep calling me.
