It's a scammer telling you that it's Evergreeen Direct CU and that your debit card has been deactivated so you'll call the number and give your CC number. This came from a text message to my cell phone.
Phishing scam from some idiot who seems to use many local OLYMPIA, WA numbers in the last few weeks claiming to be Evergreen Direct CU. What a LOSER! Probably the same type of person who would sell their food stamp debit card for cash go to a casino.
I just recieved the same text message. It's funny because I don't even have an account at Evergreen Direct CU. I went to the banks website and they have a banner posted on the top of their page warning that this is a scam.
