Said they said they wanted to verify my google account by pressing 1. After that, the phone rang about 8 times before someone answered claiming to be from google and wanted to know if I was the owner of ********. I wouldn't answer and ask him for some kind of proof and why did google need to know anything about me at all. After a few more minutes of questioning, he hung up. VERY UN--PROFESSIONAL. Legitimate businesses don't train their call centers to hang up on customers if they ask for verification.
I began getting calls from this number on my cell phone and ignored it because it is unfamiliar to me and they do not leave a message. The calls have become excessive as I received 5 in a row this afternoon and 2 this morning. I called and a recording asking me to leave a message came on so I hung up and put the number on my reject list.
