Seriously - this is a scam. Check the grammar (and strange capitalization of letters) of the letter. Did they even mention your name on the communication? There is no way you would have a court date two days after this supposed warrant was issued.
What is going on???? I got the same email.....was almost in tears. I search state warrants and everything.....worrying myself to death. I haven't got a payday loan.....but after my research and continuously looking at the email......I figured it was a scam....... This is crazy...... Whoever is doing this.....I pray gets caught and goes to jail. This is truly affecting people!!!!"
law enforcement need to track these people down and prosecute them for breaking FTC and FCC laws, along with other laws when they receive money through wire transfer
It's coming from hard core Indian scammer/extortionists . As such they are beyond the reach of US law. Call blocker is you best bet. All the errors and grammar mistakes in that e-mail should let you know that it's all a scam. Warrants are only issued by judges to duly constituted law enforcement agents and are served in person. Never by any other means.
This is a total scam. Don't worry yourself about it.
They called me saying I missed a court date and that I needed to call them before the end of the day so there would be a warrant out for me in my name. They left this number to call them back on 360-322-4838. I of course googled it and found out they have emailed or called many many others. They need to be stopped.
