Got several call sfrom this # to fax line. When I called number, all I could do was 'opt' out. Said something about FCC rule, BUT I am already on the Do Not Call List. Going to submit Complaint...as if that does any good!
Caller ID showed RDS SVC. Call from a representative stating that my Discover magazine was up for renewal and did I want to renew through them. However, they used my first name and not my nickname which is what I use when ordering mags and they also had the billing info of my father. Apparently when I had ordered something from my dad years earlier, they kept the billing info. I declined and called Discover mag directly who informed me that my name, using my nickname correctly, was not on anyone else's list and that my subscription was still valid for 2 more years. Tried to call RDS back and was only given the option to press 1 to place my phone number on the DNC list. Hanging on to the line will not get you to a customer service representative.
Called this morning. Caller ID says Marysville, WA. Didn't answer, left no msg. I never had a Discover mag so I don't know why they would be calling me. Also on the DNC for years which apparently is not working as planned. :)
I have gotten two calls from this number but did not answer as I did not recognize the number.After seeing these posts, am glad I did not answer. I am also on the do not call list.
