Obviously, the DNC list is absolutely useless as we keep receiving calls from this number several times a week. It's always the same prerecorded message about lowering credit card interest rates, etc. Total scam. STOP CALLING US!!!!!!!!!
Called me in Mass at 6:13pm busy tonight aren't they. Same BS message different number. Four different numbers this month alone and ten phone calls to "lower your interest rate. Second and final notice" F*** off and die as my son told one on Christmas Day!!!
The govt will never, ever, EVER do anything about these people who plague our phones because our lawmakers will not do anything unless they are paid to create a law to stop it and back it up with the authority to implement the law.
We can complain all we want, but not a single one of us will ever give a Congressman a donation to get it done, so it won't stop. If someone were to download a single song from the internet and got caught, it would be a $100,000 fine and a few years of jail time -- why so harsh a punishment for something so nothing? Because someone from the RIAA paid a congressman to craft that law making downloading a song a felony, and then put some cops and agents behind the law to implement it. Who's paying politicians to get these people off of our phone? No one.
I doubt any of us would pick up a phone to complain to a politician let alone give them a political donation to stop it. I've signed a few petitions, but that's about it.
