I just got a call from this number stating the following...
"Final notice from IRS Internal Revenue services the reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 360-356-1015. I repeat 360-356-1015. Thank you"
Received call from "Eric White" from "IRS Internal Revenue services ", threatening suit was being filed against me for nonpayment of taxes. The phone number is from Washington State (not Washington DC) he demanded payment of $2500 to stop the proceedings. I have posted online with the IRS Telephone Scam hot line, also. Neither I nor my tax accountant have ever been notified of any tax issues.
Received an anonymous, automated voicemail this morning informing me that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. The voicemail came from this number in Vancouver, Washington (360-356-1015, which it also directed me to call back), but the call itself appeared to come from a number in Hungary (36 03561015). Not sure how one can receive a call from one location and a voicemail from another, but there you are.
I actually called these idiots back. Each time I called (I called twice)and got a human they answered in an accented voice saying "IRS" and then when I explained the reason for my call they hung up. The second one wanted to know if I got the call on my home or cell. Since I was calling on a VOIP they couldn't work whatever scam they intended. Dumb MOFOS
