I received the same phone call from a woman who said the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. She provided a number for me to call (360-358-2831) which gives a busy signal. I have had several calls from these people and each time the number they leave does not work.
these people stated that they were from the IRS and that a warrant for my arrest had been posted for tax evasion. They threatened to send the police if I would not pay an undisclosed amount to fix the problem. I asked to talk to a supervisor who would assist me and they would not allow it. I asked what is my address on file that I reported on this years taxes and they gave me a wrong address. I asked what was my income last year and what were my accountants errors on my taxes and he said the cops will tell me at my door and hung up.
I had a missed call from Louisiana and when I heard the voice mail it was a recording stating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. I'm supposed to return their call to the number listed 360-358-2831. Not happening. This is not the approach the IRS would take to contact someone.
This person (Mike Called) and left message on answering machine to call 360-358-2831 stating that the IARS was filing a lawsuit against me and my husband for tax errors from years 2008-2014. He would not let me speak to Mark, who was his supervisor. This seems very unprofessional, and I have never not paid my taxes.
Automated caller left message on my answering machine saying they are from the IRS and that I owe money and that they are filing a lawsuit against me and to call back.
