I have received the same message "we are being sued by the IRS". Called twice already. I called the number because I am curious as to what they would say. I know this is a scam but the line was busy or disconnected, not sure which.
I received a call today and was told to call back 360-358-2930. I was told I am being sued by the IRS because my taxes are wrong and I owe $8986.73. Then I was asked how much could I pay now to stop the law suite. I started asking questions and wanted to see paperwork, he got mad and hung up ! I scamed the scam artist
Have received various messages that were cut off previously telling me to call back at 773-312-4065 & 206-249-7313. Today I received a call from 360-358-2930 and picked up. I was told that I was talking to a Ben Larsen with Badge number IRS29371 and that it was recorded call since I was being sued by the IRS. The caller had a VERY heavy foreign accent. When I told him that he was a scam and that I was going to contact the police, he told me that they were on their way to my house to arrest me and would be here within the hour. The one thing that really bothered me was they HE told ME what my address is as he was summoning the police to my house. I don't have an unlisted number and I know that is public information but it bothered me nonetheless.
