calling from the audit commission department threatening jail if I dont respond in 24 hours. Wht is there no call type - SCAM button?

They called 2x but left no message. I called them back and they stated that they are the IRS Investigation. I believe this is a SCAM.

I got the same exact call as Jackie.

Caller claimed to be from IRS. They claim they will have local police come and arrest if we do not call back.

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.
